A Corona vision test can show any discrepancies in vision, and if our patients need an updated optical prescription. That’s why at Lens Lab Express we feel that it’s important to always have a check up at least once a year, because it’s very possible your prescription has changed at some point over time. Some patients don’t even notice it. Also, eyeglass frames can be worn out or lose their shape over time and may need tightening. They should fit tightly and comfortably on the face.
When you come in to have your glasses fitted at our offices, one of our staff can help you find the right pair of glasses for you. You can try on different frames and see which ones you like best and have them fitted and tailored exactly to your face and your prescription. It’s important that you have properly fitted eyeglasses so that when you were wearing your eyeglasses they do not fall off your face and get lost, or slip off or down the nose. Your prescription should also be up to date or else it can cause eye strain or headaches.
We also carry contact lenses, but a different exam is used. Patients who have contact lenses come in usually about once a year for an eye exam and to have their contact lens prescription updated. If you wear eyeglasses, you may be able to go a little bit longer for your eye appointment, although we still recommend coming in for an annual eye exam to check for any eye diseases or just to check and make sure that your eyes are still functioning properly.
